Audio · Video · Low Voltage · Since 2005
Design, installation and commissioning of residential and commercial audio, video and network systems across the Pacific Northwest, the Bay Area and Napa. Twenty years of them.
YT–00 / Index01 — Discipline
Nobody compliments the network. They notice when the music follows them from the kitchen to the terrace, when the cameras are already recording, when the conference room simply works. That is the job.
We have been doing it since 2005, which means we have also spent twenty years inheriting other people's work and learning exactly how these systems fail.
Multi-room and outdoor audio. Zoning, amplification, speaker placement specified to the room rather than the catalogue.
Networks built to carry it. Wired backbone, managed switching, wireless designed for stone, steel and glass.
Video, display and distribution. Media rooms, tasting rooms, boardrooms, exterior screens.
Surveillance, access and control. Cameras, door hardware, remote monitoring, one interface.
02 — Territory
Work is concentrated where the buildings are interesting and the expectations are high. Travel beyond these areas is quoted on request.

Seattle, the Eastside, Portland and the surrounding counties. Waterfront, timber and glass, and weather that is hard on exterior equipment.

San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and the East Bay. Dense, retrofit-heavy, and unforgiving about finish quality.

Estates, tasting rooms and hospitality. Long runs, outbuildings, and networks that have to cover acreage rather than rooms.
03 — Systems
Two platforms are named because they are the ones most often asked for and most often installed badly. Everything else is selected per project.

Whole-home and whole-venue audio. Properly zoned, properly wired where it should be wired, and tuned to the room instead of left on the default curve.

UniFi networks, switching, access points, cameras and door access. Designed as one system with one controller, not assembled from parts.
04 — Who we work with

04 — Trade
We are used to being specified early, working to a drawing set, and staying out of the way on site. Budgets, riser diagrams and equipment schedules provided at design stage. Discretion is assumed, and we are comfortable working under NDA on listed and off-market properties.
05 — Residence
If you are not working with a designer, we will walk the property, tell you plainly what is worth doing and what is not, and quote it in writing. No pressure to automate things that do not need automating.
06 — Service
Most of what goes wrong with these systems goes wrong quietly: a firmware update, a replaced router, an access point that has been offline for a month and nobody noticed.

Remote monitoring on supported equipment. We often know before the client does.

Scheduled maintenance visits. Firmware, backups, documentation kept current.

Takeover of systems installed by somebody else. Documented first, then repaired.
07 — Contact
Drawings, a listing link or a few photographs are enough to start. We will tell you quickly whether we are the right fit.
